NETTED DOG WHELK (Tritia reticulata) a sea snail, marine gastropod mollusc in the family Nassariidae. Â They grow up to 3cm in height and are a small, but feisty scavenger. They often bury themselves in the sand but stick up their siphon to detect carrion much further away.
